I have blogged many times about how much I we love the Cricut that Santa brought me our girls this Christmas.
Each year, our Elementary school asks all the Kindergarteners to make a project celebrating and symbolizing being in school for 100 days !
Our youngest daughter Myah, is a Kindergartener, and she was so excited that she had a “project” to do. For Myah’s project, we decided to cut out 100 flower shapes using decorative scrapbook paper and the Cricut. We started this project weeks before it was due because I knew it would take a lot of time and patience, both of which our little Kindergartener has trouble with at times.
My older daughter Elle, helped Myah cutting the flowers, I hot glued each flower onto a pipe cleaner and the girls hot glued sequins and pom poms onto each flower center.
After the 100 flowers were assembled, we placed them into a painted terra cotta pot and added the words “100 days” again using the Critcut but this time with vinyl.
Myah was SO excited when she brought her project to school, we even cut out “100″ in vinyl and stuck it to the back of her shirt.
