My two youngest are in 2nd grade and Kindergarten. With the end of school (yesterday for us), I wanted to do a little something to show the teachers how much our girls enjoyed being in their classes, and how much my husband and I appreciate their dedication to our kids.
My 2nd graders class took up a collection, which we contributed to. The parents were so generous and enough money was collected to buy the teacher a bunch of wonderful things, including a Kindle!
I still wanted to do just a little extra something to let the teachers know how much we appreciate all of their hard work throughout the year. I decided to make them vintage silverware garden markers.
Here is how they came out….

I stamped “nurture”, “grow” and “thrive” {words that work for teachers and for the garden!}

“grow”, “thrive” and “eat, pray, love”

“basil”, “sage” and “thyme”
I tied each 3 piece set with Jute and a personalized note for each teacher. The girls were so excited to give these as gift. When they came home from school, they said the teachers just loved them.
Thank you teachers, have a wonderful summer!
