Well after our beach exploring yesterday with my family, I got the itch.
The itch to collect more beach treasures to make more gifts, they are just so cute and unique!
So today my Mom and I met and walked Powder Point Bridge in Duxbury.
We got some exercise and girl time in, and then it was time to get down to business.
We both grabbed our bags and headed off in separate directions searching for beach treasures.
We found a bunch of shells, some driftwood and got some fresh air.
On our way home, we stopped at a little antique store to purchase more tiny star fish.
Here is what I’ve made so far.
Another Razor shell Christmas tree a bit different. This design was my husbands idea and I really like how it came out.
I just love these tiny starfish…
I made this driftwood tree just after my Mom left.
I made it for her and my Dad.
My Mom found the gnarly piece of driftwood I used as the base of the tree.
I was going to wait until Christmas to give this to my parents, but I know I won’t.
My Mom has the beach collecting bug too and she has already texted me a picture of more driftwood she found on their beach.
She was so excited to tell me, and we have a plan to meet again on their beach Wednesday.
Thanks for hanging out with me Mama, we always have so much fun together!
Now I just have to get you a glue gun!
Check out my earlier post, to see the other beach inspired gifts we have made from treasures we found at the beach.
Like this driftwood hanging piece….
And my girls made these adorable shell, sea glass and drift wood flowers….
Thanks for stopping by!
