I made several hand-made gifts this year and they were by far, my most favorite gifts to give.
Amongst these gifts, were some hand-painted signs and canvases I painted, and worded using my Cricut to create stencils.
I shared my husband’s canvas here.
And my Buy Fresh canvas I painted for myself. ( not exactly a gift, but kind of for me : ).
However, I’ve yet to get around to posting other hand-painted gifts I made and, that I am quite proud of.

I made this canvas for my parents, who live in Plymouth, but also spend lots of time at their home in Myrtle Beach, SC.
The beach they live on in Plymouth is called Bayside Beach. In SC, they love Surfside Beach.
Hence, this canvas….

The next two gifts were made from unfinished barrel boards I purchased at The Mill Store in Plymouth.
I made one for my Dad, to hang in his library.
My Dad is a HUGE book lover and collector and has hundreds of books.
Probably, more like thousands.
The wood wasn’t perfect, but that just adds to the charm, don’t ya think ???
Every library should have a sign that reads “shhh…..”

This next sign was a joint effort by myself and my husband Michael.
Michael had the idea, I executed it and collectively, we love how it turned out!
This sign was made for our friend Jerry, who loves working with his hands, building and creating things with tools, in his workshop.
And every workshop should have a sign, don’t ya think ???
Again, the wood isn’t perfect, but that is exactly what makes the sign “perfect”.
After I had Jerry’s sign painted and sanded, Michael thought it was missing something.
He suggested I paint a little hammer in the corner.
I huffed, because I didn’t think I could draw a hammer.
But, I’m glad I gave it a try cuz I really love the little hammer.
And that’s all for hand-painted gifts.
I am thinking of making more for Valentines Day however.
