Elle is 9 ~ a colorful party

On March 6, 2003 we were blessed with our first baby girl.

We were all so excited to welcome this new little baby girl to our family.

Daddy was beaming with pride, as he always dreamt of having a little girl to love.

Big brother Mikey and Mammy and Papa were the first to come and visit.

My parents were just thrilled to meet their newest little granddaughter, and didn’t let the snow storm keep them away!

Mikey couldn’t have been more excited!

Hey kept saying “she’s so cute Mama, I love her so much”.

He also didn’t want to let her go once he got a chance to hold her.

I completely agreed with Mikey, she was just perfect.

Ten tiny little fingers, ten tiny little toes.

And that sweet face.

My daughter.

I was so overjoyed and overwhelmed with emotions.

Our family was perfect; our little man and our baby girl.

{ for 21 months until our 2nd baby girl was born, making it even more perfect }

~~~~~~~~~~
I can’t believe it’s been 9 years since that day.
9 years of enjoying our sweet little lady.
So full of energy, love and such a sweet personality.
She is funny and happy.
Giddy and gleeful.
Elle was so shy for so long, but has become more confident in herself over the past few years.
She has learned to go out of her comfort zone when necessary, and when she does, she just shines.
Elle is so kind-hearted and genuine.
She is beautiful inside and out.
If Elle were a color, I wouldn’t pick just one.
No, I think Elle would be a rainbow.
Yup, for sure a rainbow.
Colorful, lively, full of exuberance, full of life and ready to embrace it all.
She adds so much color to our world.
Happy birthday sweet Elle, we are so grateful God has blessed us with YOU.
I am humbled to call you my daughter.
And proud to be your Mama.
You are loved beyond words.
Lots of color! Β Candy, flowers, cupcakes and paper flowers.
The night of her actual birthday we went out for pizza with Mammy & Papa.
Ernie’s in Plymouth, yum, yum!!
Her big brother is now much bigger, and still adores his little sister(s).
May all you wish for come true sweet Elle.
Now and always.
