Wow!
I was surprised, more like shocked to find out that I had over 850 views on my blog yesterday !!
My little blog.
And I owe most of that to Pinterest.
Yup, seems like my lil’ deck garden has gone a bit viral.
I was not the original “pinner” of our deck garden, and I’m not sure how to figure out how many times it’s been repinned, but it’s been hundreds.
Pretty neat considering up until yesterday the most hits I’ve had on my blog in one day was 368.
People must be getting ready to plant is all I can think of.
Whatever the case, I’m thrilled.
I just love Pinterest, don’t you??
So much inspiration, so little time.

Here are some more pics of our little deck garden.

That’s what you call social media! Awesome.
I know right !?! Thanks for commenting!
Exactly Linda, crazy !
Whoa! How exciting!! It’s a great picture, what a fantastic idea!
I’ve had blog traffic coming from pinterest, not 850 hits though. I couldn’t figure out how to find out what had been pinned, Blogger just told me traffic was coming from pinterest. Maybe I’ll dig a little harder…..
I know right Katie ?!? I got the number from WordPress and was like huh ???? Pinterest is so hot right now so pin any inspiration you have !!
Hi there — I’m one of those “hits” that found you via Pinterest. I’ve had your image “liked” for ages – waiting for the right place & time to start thinking about doing a wine box garden. I finally have both and am excited to get started.
Do you have any advice or update from your garden last summer? Anything that worked really well & you would advice as a tip or trick of the trade? Anything you would change this time around. I’d love to hear your thoughts before I rush out and start buying things. Did some of your veggie choices work better than others? I saw a post about doing the tomatoes in their own box — would you agree?
Thanks so much for your image – it has inspired me for ages! {love the idea of putting them on a picnic table bench too — so smart!}
I’m enjoying your blog very much — take care!

Oh thanks Carrie!
Hi Carrie, thank you for stopping by and commenting! Yes, I do agree that the tomatoes would have possible done better in their own pots, we weren’t too successful with them. The herbs did wonderfully, as did the baby lettuce. Not too successful with the beans, but maybe it’s because I don’t have a great “green thumb”. I am so excited to plant for this summer and plan to plant a big flower garden….keep your fingers crossed! Best of luck with your plantings and hope you come back again!!
