Enjoying an egg hunt at our church
Sweet sisters and the very best of friends.
Our girls were so excited today, but NOT just for what “things” they got in their baskets.
They are both just so appreciative and grateful for everything, really.
This always makes my husband and I so proud.
We try and keep the focus on the real meaning of Easter, not the bunny.
And surprisingly, I think they are really beginning to understand it, as hard as it may be for a young child.

Our son Mikey was with his Dad today, which made me a bit sad.
Selfish, I know.
When he came home this evening, he enjoyed going through his Easter basket and even let me take this pic.
Mikey is just so appreciative, even at 15, which always makes me smile.
He’s just a wonderful young man, with an extremely BIG heart.
Just a lovely day all around.
A beautiful mass, yummy brunch, time with loved ones, some lazy time watching movies, and some fresh carrot soup for dinner.
