Teacher appreciation week and a printable.

Well it’s that time of year again !

Time to show all of our hard working teachers how grateful we are for them,

and how much they are appreciated.

Teacher Appreciation week is May 7th – May 11th,

with Teacher Appreciation Day on Tuesday, May 8th.

My girls love any excuse to bring something special in to school for their teachers,

they just LOVE their teachers, which makes them LOVE school.

My husband and I have also been so pleased with the teachers and the progress we have seen with our kids, especially our youngest who is in first grade.

So last year at this time, we planted Spring Cactus in cute little tea cups for the Teachers.

{ To view that entire post, it’s here }

This year we decided to do something different, but still cute of course !

We picked out 3 plastic insulated cups, all different colors.

We found ours at Wallyword, just under $5 a piece, but I’ve also seen similar ones at the Dollar Tree.

Next we bought a bag of Werther’s Original candies, Hershey Kisses and a box of individually wrapped Biscotti.

I also purchased 3 Dunkin Donut gift cards, cuz “America runs on Dunkin”.

:)

We started by filling each cup with a few Biscotti, some chocolate and caramels, then added in the Dunkin gift card.

I wanted to put something cute on the gift tags which represented what was inside the cups, kind of like a play on words ( if you will ).

{ Just wondering….do you say “if you will”?  There is nothing wrong with it, but I always chuckle because Michael and I have this inside joke where every time we hear someone say “if you will” , we look at each other and say “will you”?? Not rudely or anything, we usually wait until we have a private moment. }

Aaaanyway….

After a few edits, this is what I finally came up with.

What do you think ?!?

Totally corny ??

If you didn’t figure it out, the “slam dunk” is for Dunkin Donuts.

{ I had to explain that one to my hubby, but in his defense he was tired after a business trip }

;)

So the girls didn’t sign their names prior to me taking these pics, but they will before they give them to their teachers.

So easy peasy and cute right ?!?

Oh and FYI – corny is the new black, so all is good.

:)
