Oh boy I’ve been working on another pretty BIG project this past week and I am almost ready to show you.
Almost, but not quite yet.
Anyway, I think I am a day late and dollar short for Layla’s summer mantel linky party over at The Lettered Cottage, but luckily for me, she is having another and I want to join in and party too!
I’ve not done too much as far as decorating for summer indoors, but we are definitely a beach, nautical and summer-lovin’ bunch, so it was fun putting together a casual summer mantel.
simple.

with a little love.
We just love “heart-shaped” rocks.
A mussel wreath I made a few months ago from shells we had collected.
So that’s all for this post, hope you like the simplicity of our mantel.

VW Beetles (bugs) have been my most favorite vehicle since I was a little girl, still are !
